Haiti is considered the poorest country in the western hemisphere. The initial quake was followed by an estimated 30 damaging aftershocks, according to The New York Times. It devastated the capital city of Port-au-Prince and impacted some 3 million people in a country of 9 million.   The People Helping People Network is committed to providing as many families as possible with solid houses to replace those that were lost.  You can join us in our efforts by supporting our housing program.  Each house costs $3,000.  Every dollar counts.  Please join us in this effort.  Together we can make a difference for generations to come.
